BANOFFEE SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Protein Blendie

  • 1 Banana

  • ¼ Avocado

  • 1 cup Almond Milk

FOR GARNISHING:

  • 1 teaspoon Almond Meal

  • 1 teaspoon Manuka Honey (optional)

EQUIPMENT:

  • blender

METHOD:

 

  1. Blend together the Blendie, ¾ of the banana, apple and the milk until smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass and top with extra banana and sprinkle over the almond meal. If using, drizzle over the Manuka honey.

 

NOTES:

Banoffee is traditionally a banana, cream and toffee/caramel flavoured dessert – often a cream pie type thing. Creamy and chocolatey plus some almond meal to emulate the pie crust and Manuka honey as a caramel
