TRIPLE CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

1 Active Blendie

1 cup chocolate milk
-
1/4 medium carrot, grated

1 tbs avocado
-
cacao nibs, 80g dark chocolate for topping
Equipment:

Method:
Melt the chocolate in the microwave at 45 second intervals. Dip or drizzle the melted chocolate over the rim of your glass and decorate with cacao nibs. Place in the fridge to set. Combine the Blendie, chocolate milk, carrot and avocado in a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour your smoothie into the prepared glass and sprinkle with cacao nibs.

Chocolate milk is actually a highly nutritious post exercise beverage as it contains protein, carbs, vitamins and minerals - like potassium, magnesium and calcium - required by the body after a workout

Swap the carrot for banana if you wish. Adding carrot helps to increase your veggie intake for the day! Carrot has a natural sweetness which complements the cacao nicely
