INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 serve Beauty Berry porridge

  • 1-2 figs, diced

  • ¾ cup boiling water

GARNISH:

  • Slices of fig

  • honey

    EQUIPMENT:

    • Blender

    METHOD:

    1. Combine the Beauty Berry with the fig and boiling water. Stir to combine and leave stand for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Top with extra fig and drizzle with honey.

    NOTES:

    • Use ½ cup boiling water and add ¼ cup of milk for a creamier version

    • To make this into overnight oats, skip the water. Use ½ cup of milk and 1 tablespoon of yoghurt. Combine all ingredients and stand in the fridge overnight

    • This porridge is high in fibre and antioxidants

    • Use 1 dried fig if you cannot get a hold of fresh figs
